04.04.2025, at 13.00 the lecturers of the Department of Language disciplines organized a festive concert on the theme “Welcome Az-Nauryz”, address Zheltoksan 37A.
Goals and objectives of the event:
1) to glorify the traditions of our ancestors.
2) to introduce foreign students to the customs and traditions of the Kazakh people.
3) to awaken and develop interest in folk art, its various genres, styles, to expand knowledge of folklore.
4) to cultivate a sense of patriotism, respect for the culture of the Kazakh people.
The event was attended by the dean of the school of the International Faculty of S. D. Asfendiyarov KazNMU – Dzhardemalieva N. Zh., head of the department of language disciplines Baktybayeva A. T., responsible for the outstanding work Bekpentayeva L. S. In the event took part of foreign students of 1,2, 4 courses and students of the group 24-013med, 24-014med, 24-001ph. Dean of the International Faculty N.Zh. Dzhardemalieva and Head of the Department of Language Disciplines A.T. Baktybaeva delivered congratulatory speeches.

Nauryz is a symbol of celandine and renewal, symbolizing the parish of spring. The students showed a video in the English language “Happy Nauryz”, and also presented the tradition of the Kazakh people “Tusau Keser”. The evening continued with dances and songs. Traditional Kazakh cousine were presented during the evening.
The event provided a lot of information about the traditions of our ancestors. The object of the event was to develop and pass on traditions to future generations, to honor and preserve traditions, educating morality and nationality. At the end of the event, teachers, students and guests were treated to sweets, baursaks, kurt, irimshik and Nauryz kozhe. The evening was meaningful and impressive, held at a high level.
Thus, this educational event convinced everyone that the Nauryz holiday, the great day of the Ulus, is a holiday that brings happiness, well-being and peace to every home. Nauryz meiramy is a holiday filled with goodness, filling our hearts with kindness and joy, respect for representatives of different nationalities. The future of our country is in the hands of our youth. We hope that many similar events will be held in the future.
