The International Faculty was opened on October 6, 2016.
In order to increase the number of foreign students studying at the university, to increase the quality of education of foreign students, and to increase the international rating of the university in accordance with the Bologna Charter of the Scientific Council, the dean’s office for work with foreign students, the rector’s order dated 04.09.2012. It was established by Order No. 747, on the basis of the decision of the Scientific Council of the University dated September 4, 2012 (Protocol No. 31.08.2012).

About the international faculty
– The department strives to improve the quality of educational, clinical and scientific activities at the level of current global requirements by establishing partnership relations with leading universities.
– The duties of the Department include determining the priority directions of international cooperation, planning long-term international relations with foreign colleagues from among the top-500 in the world ranking, as well as searching for suitable partners in the field of education, clinics and science.
– The university participates in international cooperation on the basis of agreements with leading foreign universities, implements joint educational programs, conducts joint research activities, organizes international seminars and conferences.
– The university promotes academic exchange of students and teachers and engages visiting professors and international teaching staff.
– Currently, KazNMU is the leading university in the country in terms of the number of foreign students, 2,799 students study at the university, including 2,459 foreigners from different countries.
– First of all, foreign students of KazNMU study in “General medicine” and “Pediatrics” specialties.
