On March 1, 2025, the Department of Language Disciplines held an event dedicated to the Gratitude Day, “Teacher, Educator, Mentor – It’s Not a Profession, but Rather a Calling.” This holiday aims to strengthen warm and positive relations between peoples and to remind them of the value of mutual assistance and respect for one another.
The event was attended by department veterans who stood at the origins of its founding: S.E. Tlegenova, A.A. Sadykova, E.D. Sattarova, A.N. Aubakirova, T.V. Lutkovskaya, and others. Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics, N.Zh. Dzhardemalieva, delivered a welcoming speech. The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The guests shared memories of their workdays at the department, recreational activities with colleagues and students, and much more.
The attendees were very positive and expressed their hope that this event would become a good tradition in the Department of Language Disciplines. A.T. Baktybaeva, Head of the Department of Language Disciplines, delivered the closing remarks. She wished everyone present good health and expressed gratitude for their interest in the event.
