Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University Students Win Awards at IMRC 2025 International Conference in Thailand

On December 13–14, 2025, the International Medical Research Conference — IMRC 2025 was held in Bangkok, Thailand, hosted by Phramongkutklao Medical College.

The conference brought together young researchers from 20 countries worldwide, representing Asia, Europe, Central Asia, and North America. A total of 46 Thai and 61 international medical schools participated, with 294 research papers evaluated by an international panel of experts.

Students from Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University (KazNMU), 4th-year students of the International Faculty, successfully represented the university.

Gold AwardIskandarov Iskander, a 4th-year International Faculty student, received the highest conference award.

Research title: Application of the Deepsurv model for predicting survival in very low birth weight neonates in the ICU

Bronze AwardNarmetov Daniyar Tulkun-Zhonovich, a 4th-year International Faculty student, successfully presented his research project and became a bronze award winner.
