Students of the International Faculty, Yskak Kuralay “Avicenna’s Disciple”, Zharylkassynova Aidana “To the top of Knowledge”, and Patsaev Zhandos “The most erudite participant”, were nominated for prizes at the VI International Medical Students’ Olympiad in Samarkand-2020.

The opening ceremony in Samarkand featured a cultural program featuring national dances and music, allowing participants to explore Uzbek traditions. Following the event, organizers offered a tasting of the famous Samarkand plov.

The students said the trip broadened their professional experience, provided them with the opportunity to connect with young people from different countries, and gain insight into Uzbek culture.
