On September 16, 2026, the Department for International Students of S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University organized an informative meeting for international students with representatives of SinoAsia and the department responsible for tourism in Kazakhstan.

The meeting focused on health insurance, travel requirements, and other important practical information for international students.

During the meeting, a representative of SinoAsia provided detailed information about the health insurance policy, including the insurance fee and registration procedure. Students were also informed about how to apply for health insurance online using a QR code.

Representatives of the tourism department provided useful information about travelling in Kazakhstan, including the documents required for tourists, as well as recommendations to ensure a safe, comfortable, and trouble-free travel experience.

At the end of the meeting, the Director of the Department for International Students addressed the students and emphasized the importance of maintaining valid health insurance throughout their stay in Kazakhstan.

The meeting provided international students with valuable information to help them better understand healthcare and travel procedures and feel more confident during their studies and stay in Kazakhstan.
